Home Inspection Checklist

At Eagle Eye Home Inspections we inspect both the interior and exterior of the home thoroughly.  We determine if there are structural deficiencies, plumbing leaks, electrical problems, and HVAC concerns.  Our home inspectors will test all outlets in and around the home to ensure that there are no electrical concerns.  Our interior inspection includes, windows, doors, kitchens, bathrooms, walls, ceilings, floors, garages, electrical panels (interior and exterior), laundry units, and water heaters. We inspect the exterior of the home which includes wall condition, driveways, walkways, patios, fencing, windows, doors, drainage systems, sprinkler systems, and pool equipment and liner condition.  We can also inspect for wood destroying organisms (WDO) in addition to the home inspection. The roof is one of the major aspects of a home and we will determine if there are any signs of damage, curling shingles, broken tiles, etc.  Our roof inspection also includes examining all ceilings for signs of water damage as well as climbing through the attic.  We will also provide the age of the roof on your inspection report so you can determine the estimated life expectancy.   We will determine the condition of what structures and fixtures exist in the home and if there are concerns, we explain possible remedies and provide estimates if needed to repair or replace items. The estimates our home inspectors provide will help you determine what your actual costs will be, which helps keep any surprises from popping up in the future.  Our goal at Eagle Eye Home Inspections is to be the home buyers advocate so that you can make an informed decision.
